About preheat.
Is there recommended practices?
like:
not direct the flame to welding region,
keep some distance of flame from equipment,
to assure the temperature, is necessary waiting some minutes
to check?

Check with AWS or ISO welding standards.

Codes won't have "best practices" info, or not a lot of it anyway.  But they will have required practices.
