Padeye design with a bronze bushing

Padeye design with a bronze bushing

(OP)
I am designing a steel padeye with a bronze bushing for the first time.  The bushing is 1 3/8" O.D. for a 1" steel pin. This is for a U boom, so there will not be a lot of rotation.

I was looking at an SAE 660 bronze bushing, but the min. specified yield strength is 20ksi.  Can anyone suggest a bushing material that has a 28ksi yield strength without having to go to the end of the world to find it?

Thanks for the tip.  Really got me off center.  Take care.

I don't think you will have any trouble getting the material you need. I don't know anyone there but in the past they have had several technical people available to assist you in selecting a copper/bronze product.
