Assembly into one solid model

(OP)
I have an assembly with two parts I need to turn into one
solid model how is this done if possible? Thanks

RE: Assembly into one solid model

One option is as follows:
Open the assembly file, choose File > Save As > Part, select "all components" option below.  This should save out a multibody part file.  If desired, open the file and choose Insert > Features > Combine, choose add, select both bodies.  This will leave one single body part file.
