Tank Overflow Pipe Sizing Question

Tank Overflow Pipe Sizing Question

Tank Overflow Pipe Sizing Question

(OP)
I have just installed a Water Storage Tank. The dimensions are 140 Gallon Vertical - 70.25" H x 24" W

I have a Reverse Osmosis Unit filling the tank at 2.5 GPM

I am going to Plumb a overflow package to drain.

I'm thinking 1" Bulkhead fitting with 1" schedule 80 pipe

Will this be enough to handle the flow?

RE: Tank Overflow Pipe Sizing Question

The 1" overflow should easily pass the influent feed of 2.5 GPM.
