Part Documentation

(OP)
We are looking for a way to add "file notes" our documentation as to what is being done and why in our models.  Currently, we are adding notes through annotation.  Does anyone have a better way of doing this?  We have some ideas, but want to see if anyone else has a better system in place.

Thanks,

NXdesigner

RE: Part Documentation

if you are using Teamcenter, you could do this either with a teamcenter form, or some kind of text or word document in your item rev

Thanks MCGNX,

Do you know of any ways to automate that process, so users would be "forced" to see these docuements?  Therfore, be aware to populate them.  Ideally, we would like a system that prompts the user for input each time they save the model.  Tedious, but it should help in documentation.

Thanks,

NXdesigner
