import hatch in 2006?

import hatch in 2006?

import hatch in 2006?

(OP)
Hi,
I'm running 2006. Some time back I downloaded and added a hatch to my .pat file, which works fine. I now want to share it with someone here at work, and I can't figure out how. I think I added the hatch when we were still running 2002, and it was imported from my old settings when we started using 2006. Right now, there is still a 2002 file in our C/Program Files, and it seems that 2006 draws certain things from it relating to the Support folder.(Unfortunatley, I have never gotten a good handle on the 2006 CUI interface, it's always a struggle to deal with it, and I do it so rarely that I usually have to start all over when I have to use it.)

I think when I originally added the hatch, I just typed in into my acad.pat file (in AutoCAD 2002/Support folder. I tried overwriting my co-workers acad.pat file, (also in his AutoCAD 2002/Support folder), but 2006 didn't see it, and it was not added to his library.

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks,

Rob duPrey

Lothar,
thanks a lot. You're really knowledgeable, I think over the years you've been the one to answer most of my questions. Glad you're out there!

Thanks again,

Rob duPrey
