Does anyone know if the secondary reheats on a c-e boiler are the pentants over the arch or are they the ones back in the econamizer section

RE: C-E 650 boiler secondary reheats

we have two C-E radiant reheat boilers, 500 tph steam production each one, 540C 132 kg/cm2 steam superheated, 540C 32 kg/cm2 reheated steam, tangentially fired, natural circulation, balanced draft, with pulverized coal as main fuel.

If your boiler its similar to ours, the panels above the economizer section are the primary superheater, the secondary (radiant) superheater is located above the furnace, just before the boiler arch. In boiler arch are located primary reheater, secondary reheater, and final superheater, in this order, according to gas flow.

RE: C-E 650 boiler secondary reheats

I have a copy of C-E's book "Combustion Fossil Power" and the variety of configurations I see in there make your question impossible to answer.

Can you give any more information on your boiler?
