SYMBOL editor for structural drawings

SYMBOL editor for structural drawings

SYMBOL editor for structural drawings

(OP)
hi to all

i am looking for something that helps to draw symbols on a Word sheet

i need to draw restraints, springs, deformed shapes and all the usual symbols of structural mechanics

ain't anything working with MS Word (macro, components or whatever)?

thanks

RE: SYMBOL editor for structural drawings

Draw them up in your favorite CAD package and then INSERT OBJECT into the WORD document.

It some times help to insert a text block and the insert the object into the textblock in word ( you have an easier time moving it to where you want it.)

You could also export from you cCAD software a BMP, GIF ofr TIFF file of your object and then insert that.
