overmolding a RF circuit with thermel

overmolding a RF circuit with thermel

(OP)
Hi all,

I have a question about overmolding a RF amplifier which works from 50MHz to 1.5GHz with thermel. This plastic material will lay on the circuit, compoments and tracks and will make the circuit waterproof.

I have to check it but I think Er of this material is around 4. Does anyone know how can I demonstrate theorically that this material will change the RF performance of the amplifier, as it could change transmission lines impedances?

Any related documents, links, etc will be very useful.

thanks in advance.
