AS 1204 steel plates

AS 1204 steel plates

AS 1204 steel plates

(OP)
I have not enough information about the chemical composition of AS 1204-10 steel (somebody also talked to me about it as ASME 1204 instead of AS 1204).

I would like to know if this steel is resistent to NH3 (ammonia). For example to know if its chemical composition have copper.

Thank you in advance.

RE: AS 1204 steel plates

AS 1204 could refer to an Australian Standard - Structural Steels: ordinary weldable grades. These are just C-Mn steels with no intentional Cu additions.

However, I can't match the '-10' part to anything. The grade designation in AS 1204 is based upon yield strengths (e.g. AS 1204 grade 200 = 200 MPa min yield).
