Solidworks Error

Solidworks Error

Solidworks Error

(OP)
Hey Gang,

I am receiving some strange error message from Solidworks 2008.  The error message is trying to tell me something, but everything is written in a different language (Chinese I believe).  The only text in English is says that an Invalid argument was encountered.  Has any one else experienced this message?

RE: Solidworks Error

What are you trying to do when you receive the message?

cheers

RE: Solidworks Error

Which SP are you using?

We are using SP4.  I selected parts in an assembly and wanted to form a new sub assembly

RE: Solidworks Error

Is this repeatable with any assy, whether new or existing?

cheers

I tried again and it works.  It seems that there are a few bugs yet in Solidworks 2008.  I hope things have improved with the 2009 version.

RE: Solidworks Error

I have the same message pop up now and again (just english though). It happens when I am opening a part file from an assembly. I typically use the rmb/face select/pop-up memu so I'm not certain if it happens when selecting the part from the tree. The part file opens with the DimExpert Manager tab selected although I never exit a part file with that tab showing.

I am on SW SP4.0 and XP SP3, I just haven't updated my signature.
