Deleted Part Family Members in Assembly

Deleted Part Family Members in Assembly

When I open an assembly it tries to load some of the deleted or missing part family parts. How can I properly remove the reference to these parts?

RE: Deleted Part Family Members in Assembly

If they're part of the assembly, then NX will attempt to load them.

Unless, you're referring to the following ... Under Load Options, do you have Generate Missing Part Family Members toggled on ?

Yes I do, But I also tried it with the generate missing parts turned off and It still gave the list that it failed to load them.

RE: Deleted Part Family Members in Assembly

Part Family members are like any other component.  If they are not there they won't be loaded.  So either generate new ones or go to your assembly and delete them like you would any other component.

Thank you,

It appears that the family parts do not like to moved around in the assembly manager from parent to parent. The delete suggestion and regenerate worked great. Again thank you.
