I cant see the Deformed shape

I cant see the Deformed shape

I cant see the Deformed shape

(OP)
The analysis results seems correct but when i wanna see the deformed shape or animation it gives an errer : "results for the current deformed variable are not available for one or more nodes contained in the model"
can sb help?

RE: I cant see the Deformed shape

hi navidd2,
i think the problem is related to the fact that you have to specifically request to print the current variable u are looking for in the odb file.

Barney

Hi Barney75
Thanks for respond
I have the same history request for another model and I can see the deformed shape there. How can i ask for a deformed shape animation output? Normally you have the deformed shape animation as a default isn't it true?

RE: I cant see the Deformed shape

Are you outputting your results for all the nodes and elements in your model. You might have defined a particular node set or element set for which only you might be outputing your results.

RE: I cant see the Deformed shape

By default the displacements are output for all parts of the model. Of course if you're trying tp plot temperatures, say, as a deformed shape, then you'll get an error.
