Using greek letters in part mode

Using greek letters in part mode

Using greek letters in part mode

(OP)
I know in the drawing mode that you can change the font of any letter used within a note or dimension.  But, I would like to change the font of certain dimension symbols within part mode.  For example, if I have an angle, I would like the symbol to be the greek symbol alpha.  The greek symbol can be created within the drawing mode by using a lower case "a" and changing the font to cal_grek.  But when I go back to the part mode, the symbol name is "a".  Is there a way to show the different font types within the part mode?

Thanks in advance for your help.

RE: Using greek letters in part mode

From what I remember, the fonts in Part mode are fixed for all. But you can add a symbol next to the dimension vaklue or name. Just pick the dimension, RMB Properties and pick Dimension Text tab. Add what ever symbol you want there.

Not your solution, but a slight work-around.

RE: Using greek letters in part mode

Have you tried using ASCII to input the info you want (ALT 224 for alpfa symbol)
