Potted assembly with internal components removed

Potted assembly with internal components removed

(OP)
Hello - I had a problem representing an assembly that is potted and wanted to represent the potting material without the internal components interfering during interference analysis. I edited the potting material in the context of the assembly and used the mold cavity feature to subtract out the volumes of the internal parts, circuit boards, etc. It works pretty darn good! Just thought I'd pass this along.

RE: Potted assembly with internal components removed

It's gret that you worked it out on your own.
I hope others will learn from it.
Great job! 2thumbsup
