SewerCAD LPSS Modeling for Rational Method or Probability Method.

SewerCAD LPSS Modeling for Rational Method or Probability Method.

(OP)
I am trying to develop a SewerCAD Model for a very large, 8000 lot subdivision that has a future buildout rate of 100 years.  My design will be based on the 25% buildout projections.  My question is how in Sewer CAD can I model based on either the Rational Method (Barnes) or Probability Method (EONE) for sanitary loading.  I got a suggestion to model with only 10% running ect, my problem is how do I substantiate this methodology based on other accepted design methods.

RE: SewerCAD LPSS Modeling for Rational Method or Probability Method.

I Don't use SewerCad.

Never heard of using the Rational Method or ( Barnes) for sanitary sewer design.

Never heard of using Probability Method ( EOne) either.

The following references offer several methods for projecting sanitary sewer flows:

ASCE Manual of Practice No.  36 & 37
Watewater Systems Engineering, Homer W. Parker
Wastewater Engineering, Metcalf & Eddy

good luck
