NX6 license problem

NX6 license problem

NX6 license problem

(OP)
I've been trying to get NX6 up and working, but I'm experiencing some license issues. I've been told that NX6 has a problem of selecting Bundles in License Options, but that there is a workarround, a setting in user variables. Anybody know what to do?

Problem solved. Sorry!

RE: NX6 license problem

Was this the 24.0 vs 24.000 solution?

RE: NX6 license problem

Indeed.

RE: NX6 license problem

I have just had this problem myself and, taking the vague reference provided by potrero, I decided to nose around the license file for clues.

I found that each line in the license file beginning PACKAGE or INCREMENT contains the expression 24.0. So I changed each occurence to 24.000 and sure enough my license worked correctly.

Thanks to potrero for pointing me in the right direction.

RE: NX6 license problem

Mine has all 24.0 and everything seems to work fine.

I have not used NX6 or i-deas NX6 that much but i have not seen any issues yet.

The only issue i have seen is the with simulation.  No results ever get generated.  I was assuming i was doing something wrong and since i was only playing around i did not give it much thought.

But i can model, assembly, draft, use the content migration manager. etc.

Anyone think the FEA issues is related?
