Elements missing proparty defenitions

(OP)
Hey all,

I have made a part from shell and solid elements and when I run the job I recieve this error:

"Error in job PPA_0_0: 169 elements have missing property definitions. The elements have been identified in element set ErrElemMissingSection".

Probably some of the regions are not assigned section proparties, but the model is huge and I cannot see which region this is. How and where can I see which elements are missing proparties? Is it possible to visualize them in Abaqus CAE.

Kind regards

Senad

RE: Elements missing proparty defenitions

Use Viewer. The elements in error will be in a set which you can highlight.

RE: Elements missing proparty defenitions

Go to the Visualization Module, and select the element set ErrElemMissingSection.  Voila.

Thanks for a quick answer. This is probably a stupid question, but where do I find the set you are talking about?

Go to 'Tools'> Display group> Create and then click on elements.
