What is the minimum design temperature for SA334 Grade 3 tubing in a heat exchanger. I have this tubing available and I am trying to determine if we can use it in a -75 degree F design temperature application.

RE: SA 334 Gr3 Minimum Design Temperature

B31.3-2006 allows a minimum of -150F. That is the code book at finger tips right now.

RE: SA 334 Gr3 Minimum Design Temperature

B31.3 is probably not applicable. Is the heat exchanger designed and fabricated under ASME Section VIII, Div 1????? Use the correct code of construction and review the specific material specification, please.
