Switch dimensions to another view?

In V5R18 CATDrawing is it possible to switch a dimension which has been shown in one view, to another view?

Thanks

RE: Switch dimensions to another view?

This is not possible

While I didn't find the actual "switch dims" command, I was able to pick some dims, cut them and then paste them into the other view.  I guess that will work as a workaround.

RE: Switch dimensions to another view?

Cut and paste works on generated dimensions, ie those that were created from 3D, using the automatic "generate dimensions" button. their default coloring is green, as opposed to black dimensions, which are created manually.
"generate dimensions step by step" enables you to switch dimensions between views on the fly, provided the "tools-options-drafting-generation-allow automatic transfer between views" option has been turned on.

LWolf
