Hi guys:

I got a base fundamental question like to ask about water quality volume for a basin. I've been told that I should calculate form the orifice elevation down, and then compare with a certain percentage of the tribute impervious area. Is there any other way to do it?

There are multitudes of ways of computing water quality volume.  One needs to follow the procedure for one's particular location.
