Hello,

I am working on a project in which I required to find out how much heat is transferring into the Liquid LNG through the insulation walls. My aim is to figure the boil off of LNG due to the heat gain by the liquid LNG. Liquid LNG is at -162 C. Heat is coming in through the side walls, the roof and the bottom slab.
If anyone can send me any analytical data or experimental data on LNG storage tank that will highly appreciable.

Hi haroon.  I'm not understanding your question exactly.  Do you have a tank that you'd like to test for heat leak?  Or are you trying to determine analytically, how much heat leak a tank will have based on the design (ie: insulation thickness, etc...)

You need to search for information on Cryogenic Storage Tanks not just LNG. A lot of information on LNG tanks is proprietary.
I have seen older papers from the late 50's and 60's that have some good information on boil off. I have one form USS but I can't get it to legibly scan as it is in some very small print.

Here is one paper on liquid hydrogen and oxygen. There are several papers like this out there.

I hope you are using a thermos tank, double walled with a vacuum between the walls.  A typical tank will take 30 days to boil all of it contents out. A 40,000 gallon tank wil therfore lose about 1300 gallons per day or 28,000 BTU/hr

About 1/2 of your analysis is done in your attachment. The other half will consist of determining the temperature rise of the roof and walls,of LNG to boil off. Assume no heat gain thru floor slab; use bulk temperature for LNG;assume constant temp thru the thin wall and roof. write the general equation on a spread sheet and use a time interval of .1 Hr.
