SAMPE Conference, Memphis

(OP)
SAMPE Memphis is next week and tomorrow is the last day to register on-line. It occured to me that I can't remembr SAMPE being mentioned much, if at all in this forum.

You can find out more about the conference and register here:  http://sampe.org/events/2008Memphis.aspx.
Admission to the Exhibit Hall is free if you preregister or print out the free pass.

For those who don't already know, SAMPE (the Society for the Advancement of Materials and Process Engineering) is one of the leading technical organizations devoted to composites. They hold two major conferences every year. The main one is in the spring, and will be in Baltimore next year. This is the fall Technical Conference.

I have learned a great deal by participating in SAMPE for many years. Anyone who has an interest in composites would benefit. While the Technical Papers can be educational you can learn more by meeting and talking to other attendees and exhibitors. That part is free.
