Design Table Memory Usage

Design Table Memory Usage

(OP)
Hello,

I am using SW 2008, and have very large design tables. Everytime I change configurations my memory usage goes up approx 5-8000K. If I use the DocExport macro from lennyworks.com or manually switch configurations enough, I eventually run out of memory. SW seems to hold the configurations in some sort of cache... as the memory usage does not increase if I switch back to a configuration that has already been generated.

Is there anyway (preferably macro/API) to clear this 'cache' without restarting SW? A performance setting I am not seeing? I was hoping to be able to modify the macro so it clears the cache after it changes configurations.

Thanks for your help.
