Any tips on mounting or support of pump and associated piping?

I have heard the motor will develop a gyroscopic effect and create a strong overturning moment.

Is it better to left pump float with pipe and let pipe restrict the overturning moment or

Fix the pump and fix the pipe at the suc/dschg connections?

Pipe operates at low temp, 2" dia, bends/elbows in horizontal plane in pipe on both ends within 10 ft.

Manufacturer info says you could do either.  Just keep within allowable limits.  I don't have resources to do pipe stress calcs now nor do I want to on low temp 2" pipe.

Any rule of thumb tips?
