Large Wire Spring Coiler

Large Wire Spring Coiler

Large Wire Spring Coiler

(OP)
Hey all

Currently my company has 4 large wire (1"-2.5") coilers. 1 is an automatic coiler, the others are a slow hand wound operation over a worm gear.

We are in the market for another automatic coiler, however the only source we have used and can seem to find is no longer in business. The founder died and his son sold the company.... Anyone know of any companies that make coilers capable of this?  We have already checked with Wafios, Torrin (horrible customer service), and Simco....

Any input would be appreciated

RE: Large Wire Spring Coiler

The latest edition of Springs magazine has an advertisement from Okuno that asks "Thinking Big?" and states that they have CNC coilers for > 25 mm (> 1 inch) diameter wire.

Their Internet site is strange for English-speakers, but here it is anyway:

Cory
