Need to Blend a Lot of Edges
Need to Blend a Lot of Edges
(OP)
Hello all,
I'm designing blowmolded packaging trays with many cavities (40-70) in NX4 and I need to blend all the edges on all the cavities. I tried selecting "Body Edges", then subtracting the edges I didn't want blended, but that didn't work. I finally resorted to selecting "Face Edges", but it's very tedious. Is there a quick way to pick the edges to select all the edges? A draggable selection box or something like that would make my life a lot easier.
Thanks,
Jim

I don't think NX4 had the Command Finder in it.
Maybe you should look into CAST (self paced training) or classroom environment training for NX to get a grasp of the basics?

For users of NX-5 and above one way out can be to create a subset of the pattern and use instance geometry to further array it.
Technique and modelling strategy are not contained in any help files of any system you just have to learn this stuff.
