Dashed lines

Dashed lines

Dashed lines

(OP)
I'm having a strange problem in Solidworks. I used to use solidworks 2006 before and never had this issue. Many of the edge lines for objects appear as dashed lines. They look just like construction lines but they aren't. If I turn on view temporary axes, all lines turn dashed. The strange thing is that it only does it some of the time. It happens in both 3d models and 2d drawings. Any ideas?

RE: Dashed lines

Which SW version, video card and driver are you using?

Intermittent graphics problems are almost always caused by a video card/driver mismatch with the SW version, or a faulty install of the driver or a faulty card.

cheers

I think that was it. I updated my video driver and the problem appears to have gone away.

Thanks man!
