C-supports design for Tanks

(OP)
Hello Guys,

My team is required to design C-supports for the shell cutting process of a double bottom 200,000 barrels oil storage tank.

Could anyone help on how to go about it and the things to look out for?

Hello everyone,

Am in a team we are upgrading a 200,000 barrels tank. Pretty much going ok but the guys in construction need the design for the doorsheet support. The height of the tank is 9.75m and the diameter is 64.62m. The position of where the doorsheet is to be sut on the shell is pretty much defined.

The dimension of the doorsheet is 3000mm by 3000mm. Can anyone tell me how to go about the design of the doorsheet support? Id really appreciate it.

Thanks

Femmy

I do not understand the whole problem..

But if it is a storage tank try to look in API 653

RE: C-supports design for Tanks

In my opinion, you need the assistance of an experienced tank contractor with a good engineer on board.
