Annotation Feature, Driven Dimension

Annotation Feature, Driven Dimension

Annotation Feature, Driven Dimension

(OP)
I have a assembly with 3 parts. The parts contain annotation features that are driven dimensions.
I've created a drawing of the assembly and I need to show and erase those annotation dimensions that are contained in the parts. The standard part dimensions will show and erase, but for some reason the annotation ones will not.

If I create a view of just the part and show and erase everything the annotations will show with all the other stardard part dimensions.

Does anyone know why an annotation feature driven dimension contained in a part will not show and erase in a drawing view of the assembly?

Thanks!

RE: Annotation Feature, Driven Dimension

You might have to use show dimensions for the selected part and view. similar to feature in view in part drawings.

O) it mighr be considered an annotation or note in the part and not a dimension so try selecting the corresponding button in the show erase dialog.

RE: Annotation Feature, Driven Dimension

Anything created in annotations is treated as an annotation (even if it is actually a dimension), so mjcole is correct when saying to show annotations instead of dimensions.
