Hello,

I am new to AutoCAD and was wondering if there is a way to draw or insert a text to be on the edge of the circom of a circle ?

Thanks

RE: text on a circle

Express tools / Arc-aligned text.  If not there or on your CD, there are many LISP and VBA routines out there.

thank you so much
you saved me :)

RE: text on a circle

Back before Express Tools (Release 10, DOS, pre-windows, pre-Internet, and I think pre-electricity), when I was creating a cad version of my seal, I used the array command to get a bunch of letters aligned along an arc and edited each one.  I used rotate to create spaces or to tighten up words based on the size of the letter.  A real PIA but that was all we could do in the dark ages.
