Exhaust requirements
Exhaust requirements
(OP)
Hi
I am working on a project where I have a room of about 1000 cubic feet in this room I have an electrical load of 645 kw with a 10% duty cycle I am not sure of the temperature generated by this load but I would like to keep the room at no more than 150 F using intake and exhaust fans from outside. This is in Massachusetts for outside ambient air conditions. Is this a reasonable application for fans or should I be looking for another option. Also this room will have no usable wall space for fans and about 6' x 14' of cieling space to the outside. Thank you for any input

RE: Exhaust requirements
Since your post has been hanging out here since August 13Th I figure you may have already found a solution.
In Massachusetts you should be able to do this with a thermostatically controlled exhaust fan and an intake duct.
How is the insulation of the room, will you pick up any solar load?
