PHOTOWORKS VECTOR OUTPUT
PHOTOWORKS VECTOR OUTPUT
(OP)
I am trying to render to a file that my advertising department can use. They want a vector based file. They are telling me that all of the options are bit map style.
Is there another way I can save a rendering that they can use?
thanks for the help

RE: PHOTOWORKS VECTOR OUTPUT
Raytracing uses a method of backtracing the rays of light that enter the camera scene. If you dont have a raster grid (output resolution) to start with then the rays would have to be calculated from each light source, this would exponentially increase the amount of calculation needed. Since relatively few of the rays of light that leave each source actually enter the camera, most go off to nowhere leaving an indeterminate system.

I have a friend that is in the sign business, and this works really well, though there is a cost associated.

Save as a drawing. Then "Save as" and change the file type to either Adobe Photoshop Files (*.psd) or Adobe Illustrator (*.ai).
They should be able to import these file types and use as they please.
