model tree won't show up in nav windown

(OP)
i'm beating my head against the wall on this.

i can not get my model tree to be within my nav window. the option is greyed out under my "Show" tab.  the model tree always pops up detached.

i even added the config.pro option "enable_tree_indep" and set it to NO, to no avail.

any ideas?

thx

RE: model tree won't show up in nav windown

Under Tools-->Customize Screen, click the Navigation Tabs tab.

The "Model Tree Settings" should have its Placement setting set to As part of the navigation tabs .

Finally, remember to make sure that your window settings are saved to your startup working directory (set at the bottom of the Customize Screen dialog box).
