Are electrical steels (Fe-Si) Nace compliant?

Are electrical steels (Fe-Si) Nace compliant?

(OP)
Hi everyone,

I was wondering if Fe-SI non-oriented grades, such as surahammars grades (http://www.sura.se/Sura/hp_main.nsf/startupFrameset?ReadForm) were able to be NACE compliant.

I think it must be, all most severe criteria are met (HRC6<HRC22, Annealed between 790 and 840°C, no Ni, not free-machining alloys.

I guess that Welding hardness has to be checked.

Anyway, I would like a confirmation that this is sufficient to tell that these alloys are Nace compliant (according to MR0175-2, condition A2, which is the more strict condition).

Is it needed to perform Lab tests?

Thank you for your help,

best regards.
