Anybody else receive the e-mail about the testimonials, user directory, and free chance at the Sheet metal exam from SW? Anybody tried the sheet metal exam?

Anybody seen how screwed up the directory is?

RE: Offering CSWP-SMTL for free to CSWP's

You beat me too it.  I just finished taking the test.  Not all that hard, or different from the CSWP, so if you passed that one, and you can make sheet metal parts, you'll be fine.  I got 160/195 and you need 135 to pass.  I'm pretty disappointed actually, seeing as how long I've been working with sheet metal, but just like the CSWP, there are some parts of the test that could be cleared up just a bit.  Anyways, I say go ahead and take it if you have the time.  You might just get another pretty picture to hang on the cubicle wall...

Got the email - haven't taken the sheet metal test yet (I took the old CSWP exam doing the sheet metal on that one for the required "advanced" area).  I might need to bone up a bit before giving it a try.

RE: Offering CSWP-SMTL for free to CSWP's

I got the email yesterday.  Just tried to check the directory, but it is listed as "Coming Soon" on the SW website.  Here's what I was thinking for my testimonial:

"I have been suffering from my severe pollen allergies for years. I tried the Online CSWP Exam, and in minutes I began to feel better. After a few hours I felt like a new man. I got the needed relief without the fogginess I get from other online profession certifications. I would recommend the CSWP Exam to any allergy sufferer."

I think I have a shot at the sound system.  No?  Oh, well.  I may take the sheet metal exam if I can get two seconds to rub together to take the thing.  In a bizarre coincidence, last Thursday Avelino Rochino was at our user group giving a primer on the the sheet metal test.  Looks like they are pushing that test as hard as they did the CSWP.

I like what they changed with the test interface, a definite improvement over the CSWP one. It was tough for me, but then, I don't spend much time with Sheet Metal.

If I were awarding the prize you would defintely get it. What score did you need to get to get that relief. I passed the test and my alergies are as bad as ever.

gopack, did you have an issue with one of the multiple choice questions where the mass options were all about 200 grams heavier than the part should be?

BTW, passed with a 170 somehow. Like the new score visualizer too. And I need to write them about the directory. It says that nobody in my state has passed the CSWP Core, and I know that's not true.
