Has any one noticed subtle changes in the tool paths generated by a 4 axis swarf, from version 2000 to version 2001?

I am noticing that a tool path machining a warped plane that used to generate a lot of blocks, now leaves out the intermediate blocks and moves straight from one end to the other.  I had already been using a tight surface tolerance to generate these intermediate points, but now it doesn't seem to matter how tight the surface tolerance is.

Thanks in advance.
