as you would expect we COPY Master Models to new identities many times .... I have users who forget to uncheck a current dialogue that copies the Drawing along with the Master Model.... thus I end up with the same specification being allied to two different Master Models .....
? - where would I find the user setting that would allow me to have unchecked by default ...

Unless you have access to your custom defaults, then you will need to speak to one of your NX/TCEng administrators, but have a look at some of the setting within the customer defaults as shown in the image attached to this thread. One of  them may work.
