3-Way Control Valve

3-Way Control Valve

3-Way Control Valve

(OP)
I am looking for a reliable 3-way control valve.  It is going to be used for switching from city water to chilled water, line size is 2.0 in.  I do not have much experience in valves.

RE: 3-Way Control Valve

google them, hundreds of hits.  They are just like any other valve, pick your favorite style, ball, plug, globe.  They can be automated.  You could use a 4 way valve with one port plugged so that the city water and chilled water do not mix (or use a check valve).

RE: 3-Way Control Valve

You will also likely be required to use a back-flow preventer valve to prevent contamination of drinking water.
In that case a three-way valve might be redundant if you were thinking that it would prevent any backflow.
