Revit Steel Details

(OP)
We are in the process of switching to Revit, and came across some steel detailing questions.

1.  how can i cope a deep beam framing into a shallow beam so that the deep beam's bottom flange is removed below the shallow beam?

2.  in section, is there a better way to align the edge of the flutes with the edge of a spandrel flange?  ive tried the cantilever properties but it doesnt always give the best results.

RE: Revit Steel Details

1.  You dont model details such as copes.  You have to cut the section and draw lines over the viewable model pieces and turn off the lines you dont want to see....and pray the beam size doesn't change.

2.  Not sure on that one.
