Load Chart

(OP)
I want to fabricate hooks & racks made of square and round material. Can anyone advise me from where I can get the Load chart for various thicknesses & lengths.

Help is highly appreciated

RE: Load Chart

The type of load is crutial. If I can assume you need hooks only for stationary holding, than you have simple tensile stress. For racks you han assume flexion in the middle of horizontal and compression in vertical. Thes very simply formalas you can find in any book about strenght of materials. Stress limits for materials you find from materials' atest.
Everything beyond that goes further to analysis and calculation.
