UDF REFERENCES

(OP)
I am trying to create a counter bore UDF but I only need two references to locate it,the top surface and the axis.Pro E wants me to select a third reference, surface or plane. The thru hole will already be there but not always a plane going through it.Any ideas??

RE: UDF REFERENCES

You might want to do an Info-->Parent/Child on the original features that made up the UDF to find out why its asking you for a plane.

RE: UDF REFERENCES

Was it a sketched counterbore hole? That might be the required 3rd reference, sketching plane. If it was just the default hole w/ counterbore feature then I am out of ideas
