Graphics card issues

(OP)
My new company ordered a quadro nvs card for my new SW computer before I got here, but to my understanding, this is not a good nor approved card for SW.  I have this problem when viewing OLE images in dwgs (maybe other things too, this is all I have come across) that they appear and disappear both partially and completely with zooming, panning, etc.  I tried setting SW OpenGL to use SW and that took care of that instability, BUT I noticed a big performance hit in the part model, almost to the point of lock up it seemed like.  Am I just doomed with the card?  Or anything else I can do?

Thanks,
Mike

RE: Graphics card issues

I don't believe there is any hack for the NVS cards. The only solution is to upgrade to a suitable card.

cheers

Thank you both for the insight; I guess I'll pull out the chicken feet.

RE: Graphics card issues

The only Quadro card that is not supported (for the most part) was the NVS. That card is used for reading the stock market online real time... not going to help you much with SW. Replace it is you only true choice.
