STL platform translation

(OP)
I just started working for a new company and they want me to look into converting some of their standard function blocks from Siemens Step7 to a WAGO I/O platform. Their systems are not overly complicated and the WAGO has more than enough processing power to handle the job.
Everything they want to convert is programmed in Step7 STL.
Can anyone tell me how standard the Step7 STL function set is? Same thing for the WAGO? Aside from addressing and internal function bit assignments, will this be a cut and paste thing to go between software packages?

RE: STL platform translation

Siemens STL is not what most other systems calls ST, its very different.

I'm unsure if WAGO has an equivalent to STL in the real sense to Siemens, but even if they do I would seriously doubt you could just cut and paste.

Siemens STL does not have a function set, but rather a list of instructions.
