scriptpro for layer states

(OP)
i have 500+ dwg files for which i need to apply a specific layer state. i can create a layer state for one, then export out the .las file and apply to others. does anyone have a scriptpro ".scr" file for layer state that will batch apply my layer state to all files? i know scriptpro can process a autocad script in multiple files together, but i do not know how to make a .scr script file from the .las file so that scriptpro can read it. any help will be appreciated.

OZZY84,
thanks for your script, it's basically the same that i had, except for the zoom extents at the end before saving. i have another problem. i am running LDD, so everytime scriptpro opens up a file, it timeouts on "defining the project" step of LDD; and so, it would not work. do you have any experience in making it work for LDD, or do i need just straight autocad for it? thanks for all your help.
