1/8" BSP Helicoil

(OP)
Hi all,

We got in some 1/8" BSP helicoils, 1/4 inch long, recently but we thing they're the wrong size. Doe sanyone know what they're ID should be?

God bless,

Phil.

RE: 1/8" BSP Helicoil

I don't have any BSP's here to check, but seeing what the average helicoil's I/D is compared to the parent thread's minor diameter, I'd say 1/8" BSP helicoil shoud be a little over 5/16" I/D and about 10mm O/D (don't forget that the 1/8" refers to the bore of the pipe)
