Creating surface from measured points???

Creating surface from measured points???

(OP)
Is there any possible way to import a measured set of data X,Y,Z, by using a cmm , in order to costruct a surface.
My inspection conducted on a casting part and i want to visualize my results.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Creating surface from measured points???

if you have the licences DSE digitised shape editor and QSR quick surface reconstruction

RE: Creating surface from measured points???

use dse import, then mesh, then qsr automatic surface (you may just be lucky, you may be exceptionally lucky and get a nice quality surface) get some training on these workbenches.

RE: Creating surface from measured points???

Do you really need to build the surface ?

If you want to check the result of the CMM... you can directly compare the cloud // your solid using "Distance Analysis"
