Catia V5 Video Set-Up

(OP)
I have a need to create a video of 6 enhanced scenes
showing rotational movement. I would like to create
an avi file. After tools/image/video a pop-up screen
appears. How would I load the enhanced scenes to create
this video?
Thanks

RE: Catia V5 Video Set-Up

TheMan51,

In my testing, the smallest output file size was produced using the Indeo 5.10 compressor set to 60 frames per second with MPEG output.  This file size was 664 KB compared to producing a AVI file with the Cinepak compressor.  File size using that compressor and 60 FPS was 87300 KB.  Considerably larger.

RE: Catia V5 Video Set-Up

I use the 3rd party product called CAMTASIA Studio.  It captures CATIA files very fluidly, and has some of the best compression around - you will need their (free) CODEC installed to play it back, but you can also save the video to Flash, which doesn't require the CODEC.
