Single line information.

Single line information.

Single line information.

(OP)
I am checking a basic engineering for a electrical project (from 115KV to 0.48KV), and I have requested a complete information for the general single line diagram including:
.- Bus bars normal capacity and SC capacity (simetric and asymetrical)
.- Trasformers reactances +,- and 0. Taps values.
.- Breakers capacity.
.- Motors capacity.

Is it the all the information that should be in a single diagram??
Thanks in advance

RE: Single line information.

NO. There are several types of single line diagrams, and most will not include short circuit information.

A relaying single line diagram, for example, will only show the protective relaying.

RE: Single line information.

Feeder sizes too.

RE: Single line information.

Transformer rating, natural and forced as applicable.

Any Castell / Kirk type interlocking can be useful.

Indication of gas/air transitions or cable seal ends can be useful.

Probably the most important thing is don't clutter the drawing. If you can show more information while keeping it useable then fair enough. If it becomes an unreadable tangle of tightly packed lines and 4 point text the end users will curse you forever.
