does anyone have clues about M50 VIM-Var corrosion behaviour

(OP)
Hi everybody,

Everything in the title of the post: does anyone have clues about M50 VIM-Var corrosion behaviour?

I'm looking for some data on the corrosion of this alloys in ambiant environnement (air) for bearings (without oil) at 300°C. Do you think it will be appropriate or I need to switch for an inox (in term of corrosion).

Bearing will not be use really often (only emergency bearings).

Thank you for your help...

RE: does anyone have clues about M50 VIM-Var corrosion behaviour

What type of bearing are you inquiring about, ball, roller, plain?

How is the bearing loaded and how bit is the load?

Is there any vibration?

Can you possibly put a dry film lubricant on it?
